The Group celebrated it's Centenary Year with a Open Night & Buffet on Saturday, 24th of October, 2009.
The event was held at the Scout Hall, Regent Street and the evening was attended by many ex-members and current leaders and parents.
Our guest speakers, Mr David Whitton (MSP) and Mr Jim McLaren entertained the guests with stories of old and memorable events throughout the Groups history. Later, former Akela, Miss Susan Ross, cut the centenary cake.
There was a large display of memorabilia from over the 100 years history including artefacts from as far back as 1909.
